Tired of the same old fairy tales? What if Cinderella was a cyberpunk hacker? What if the Three Little Pigs were reimagined by J.R.R. Tolkien? Get ready for Fairy Tales: Reimagined, a new podcast launching soon that takes classic stories and turns them on their heads. I’m David, your host, and I can’t wait to share these audio dramas with you!

For generations, fairy tales have captivated us with their magic, their monsters, and their timeless lessons. But what happens when we take those familiar narratives and transport them to new worlds, new genres, new styles? That’s the question at the heart of Fairy Tales: Reimagined.

This podcast is all about exploring the endless possibilities of fairy tale retellings. We’ll be using several different approaches to achieve that. We’re taking our favorite stories and dropping them in new and exciting Genre-shifts. Get ready for Fairy Tales: Reimagined! This new audio drama podcast explores classic fairy tales with a twist. What if Red Riding Hood was a werewolf hunter? Think of Little Red Riding Hood in a horror setting, facing more than just a big bad wolf.

What If…

Another method we will be usuing frequently is exploring “What If…” scenarios. By questioning and altering fundamental details of your most cherished fables, completely new tales emerge!

And lastly, and this might be my favorite: we are style-shifting. I love experimenting with voices and stlyes, and want to explore the many ways of portraying your most beloved tales. Ever read a Dr Seuss version of Sleeping Beauty? You might!

Each episode will feature a complete, self-contained story, brought to life with engaging narration, immersive sound design, and music. We’ll be drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources, from cyberpunk and steampunk to horror, fantasy, romantic comedy, and even the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss.
